James @jamesm: Letโ€™s talk shadows! Recently, Iโ€™ve noticed a few people doing this sort of stroke treatment on containers, buttons and other elements, and it hurts my feelings, lol.
James @jamesm: Using a dark stroke with opacity enhances the look and feel, especially in a popover or modal context with underlying UI. It's not a make-or-break situation, but it does make a difference. Example:
James @jamesm: An opaque stroke creates a blending effect with the underlying content, giving a cleaner appearance than a solid stroke color. Here is another example:
